How to Order a New Type Approval Label

Is the type approval label on your Westfalia towbar damaged, no longer readable, or lost? No worries - we will be happy to send you a new type approval label as soon as we receive an affidavit from a licensed workshop containing, among other things, identification data for the towbar.

The Federal Motor Transport Authority has decided that the direct delivery of nameplates to the vehicle owner/end customer is unfortunately no longer permitted. To make this process easier for you, you will find an affidavit template for your workshop below, which they should fill out and send to the email addresses or fax numbers provided in the below PDF form (note: different numbers for OE and aftermarket (IAM)).

As soon as we receive the completed form with a legally binding signature, we will immediately send the new type approval label to your workshop.

The processing fee for this service is EUR 49.00 including VAT (RRP) (plus EUR 5.50 postage).
